Grape Varieties: 100% Chardonnay Maturation: In stainless steel on lees for 4 months. Alcohol: 13% Cellaring Potential: Up to 3 years. Growing Season: Cool spring with adverse conditions for fruit set produced a small crop. Winemaking: The crushed grapes were drained and pressed to stainless steel tanks and the juice was cold settled. The clarified juice was then cold fermented using a selected pure yeast strain. Early bottling of this wine has ensured the retention of freshness and varietal aroma. Colour: Pale Straw. Nose: An elegant bouquet of peach and melon. Palate: This wine is primarily unwooded, full bodied on the palate with good length of flavour and a crisp finish. |
